Shaving the 3rd brake light.
Since I have the LED brake light in the factory EX spoiler.. thinking about shaving the 3rd break light. Already took the housing out because it rattles like a bitch but now there's just a hole.
Not only that but I'll get a little more visibility out of my rear windshield. Might as well shave the baby holders (car seat hooks I think they're called lol) too while I'm at it.
Prolly gonna use fiberglass chop mat and body filler. Talk about bored huh?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Shaving the 3rd brake light.
When a dealership installs a genuine Honda accessory wing spoiler (with integrated brake light) the instructions have us disconnect the original that is in the back window, and many kits have the harness for the new light plug right in to the connector for the original light that was in the back window.
(aftermarket kits may or may not do this, IDK)
If you think about it, a lot of the spoilers block the light from the original center brake light anyway (when viewed by the driver of a car behind you) so what good would it be to have it hooked up?
