Rep Power: 0 How to reset your Factory honda oem Alarm civic 2001
I recently bought a Honda civic 2001 that includes 1 key + 1 alarm control replaced the battery control and the alarms seems to be working I can arm and disarm the alarm when the doors and locks are locked the lights blinks too. Now i want to know if the alarm is just desprogramed or unusable. The alarm doesn't sound when I open the doors or truck or hood only works when I click the panic bottom it sounds perfect... is there a way to program reset push bottom to reset this factory alarms?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

It might only be equipped with keyless entry.
In 2001 I think none of the US market cars came with security system. Security system was a dealer installed accessory add-on.
Is there a red LED in the center of the upper steering column cover?

Thare is no LED bulb anywhere in the dashboard the only thing i know is something installed and yes this is a honda oem control that locks and unlocks the lock doors (tried cos my 2 door power locks are not working) I hear the sound when the alarm is armed or disarmed if I don't lock doors manually the alarm will not arm but defenitely sound like is working I hear the sound and the red panic triggers the alarm ok.

The horn will beep with a double tap on the lock button, but that does not mean there is an alarm.
As I said earlier, the security system would have been an accessory, dealer installed add-on.
If you have the owners manual look under 'keys and locks' or 'doors, power door locks'
FTM:
When you push the LOCK button a
second time within 5 seconds after
you have locked the doors, the horn
will sound once to verify that the
doors are locked.

So if this is an accesory only why it sounds like an alarm beeping using the panic red bottom locks power locks like an alarm arm and disarm like any other alarm it makes blinking the headligths like an alarm does it but is only a POTATO?

Did you read about it in your owners manual?
Look under 'remote transmitter'
It only blinks the park lights, not the headlights.

Letters under remote transmitter are erased by the use and time. Yes park lights blinks... If there is an alarm where can be located physically?

HOW?? Nobody ever reads the owners manual!
Got a USA market car? Page 85-86
If you can locate the cruise control unit under the dash, the instructions said to mount the Honda security control unit to the same bolt the cruise unit was mounted with......but really, someone could put it just about anywhere the wire harness could stretch to....
If yours does not have the red LED in the center of the column cover then it should not have the Honda alarm.
If you haven't seen a siren mounted under the hood along with stray wires that don't look like they came from the factory, then it probably doesn't have an aftermarket alarm either.

So far I can't see nothing under the steering wheel... I'm gonna need to search the siren inside the hood to see if is located there... where is the alarm owners manual link? I found out a pdf in Google but lose it the link in my phone.

Your car doesn't have it.
Your car probably doesn't have any.
That looks like the manual for one, but your car doesn't have it.
