Rep Power: 0 Bumping Window Issue and Airbag Light
Hello Guys,
Purchased my first japaneese car two days ago. 2002 Honda civic SI, 200,000KM on it. It is single owner very clean. Car is in great shape but has a few quarks I was looking for advice on. The drivers window, goes down in 1 inch bumps. You push the button and hold it, it goes down 1 inch, you release it, hear the relay click, then you can repeat this process and raise or lower the window 1 inch at a time.
It has an aftermarket remote starter on the car. (proper one for a manual). I really like having a remote start and it works. However I do get a DRL light when the car is running and the Ebrake is on. Also when I use the remote starter to start the car it throws an air bag light. I was able to reset the SRS light using a cotter pin like described in some how-tos. It only returns when using the starter. I have done the resoldering on the DRL's board.
The car was brought in 18,000km ago to the dealer to have airbags replaced for a recall. It sounds like all these issues started happening sometime around then, but I am not for certain.
What do you guys think? I was going to try to get some wiring diagrams for the car and the remote starter and go from there. Looking for some advice, or if anyone has the schematics!
Thanks for your help,
Kevin
btw the car is great!

check the continuity of the contacts in the switch, I thinks there's 3 sets of contacts, one for raising the window, one for manually lowering the window, and one for the auto down. probably need to replace the switch
