Can i use this motor

I am just wondering i blew up my 2002 honda civic lx motor 5 speed and im buy a 2004 honda civic lx automatic motor is that going work if i put it in my 2002 civic lx 5 speed even tho its a automatic?

Yes. Swap out the drive plate for a flywheel and you'll be good to go.

Source: swapped my 2002 D17A2 MT with one that came from an 2004 originally equipped with an AT.

Should i buy one or is there one i can use thats already on my manual car ? And thanks for the help makes this a little easier.
