PGMFI Relay

Anyone have any advice or tricks involved in removing the PGMFI relay-2 ?
Its the blue relay behind the glovebox on 7th gen. Civics. I suspect that this may be what is preventing my car from starting, and I need to get it out to test/replace it.

my issue is that It is located so close to the metal that I cannot get my fingers in there to spread the retainer tabs.

I have tried pulling the tab back with a makeshift hook. However, due to the tight confines, when doing this I cannot , deflect the forward facing tab, hold /pull the hook on the rear facing tab and pull/wiggle the relay outat the same time, ....maybe if I had a third hand?

Any advice or suggestions appreciated

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: PGMFI Relay

I might use Channel-lock pliers-- squeeze carefully, pull upward and wiggle it a little.

Or take the bracket off that holds all the relays.
