Speedometer is off

Says I'm going 40mph when I'm not moving and it keeps going up as I speed up. Is that a sensor?

Scantool>PCM>Data list: Does VSS value match what the speedometer is doing?


Sweep test the gauge cluster (part of self diag mode)
Do a battery cable reset
recheck sweep test

Probably needs a cluster, probably a bad stepper motor
