New to the forum. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Transmission went out on the car it's a 2001 civic HX automatic. My mechanic installed a JDM replacement transmission. The problem is that it won't switch gears. It moves fine but it won't shift just stays in 1 gear. Has anyone experienced this problem when replacing your USDM tranny to a JDM?

Honda CVT fluid only , or possible can use Valvoline CVT.

if your trans feels like its going, i found a slightly used one for 400$ and put it in myself, runs like a new car now.
