Ready to get rid of my TEIN's because of too much spring binding. I've come down to 2 choices which are either F&F Type 2 or D2.
Just want some feedback on those who actually have them or know friends who have them.

Krudmuffin had that same kit with the same issue. I don't think his kit came with washers either.
Maybe it's a new item they added?!?
If they were not used or put on wrong that would be why.

Exactly. I'm calling TEIN tomorrow and getting measurements. Then will hopefully order some good rolling thrust bearings to sandwhich between those 2 upper plates.

tein probably added the thrust washers after multiple complaints about binding maybe its a design flaw that effects all kits in that case tein should give them to you free of charge.

Calling them Monday morning. So when I get these, put both thrust washers on top of the spring seat at top?

it looks they also Revised the spring seat to stop the springs from moving around. you mite have to also purchase a set of the new spring seats to utilise the thrust washers but im not certain you have to talk to tien.

I got that on mine already. Just need some good thrust bearings to help. I'm putting more silencer rubbers on the springs too.

Okay TEIN told me the spring seat is 70mm x 93mm. I found good thrust bearings online that are 75mm x 100mm that should fit right over and see if this finally cures the problem.

Man I pray this is finally the answer. Is there a specific grease to use in them or the normal grease I've been using? All purpose grease.

doesn't necessarily matter as long as its a bearing grease there's a million different brands and different compounds even full synthetic stuff.

Went ahead and bought the valvoline bearing full synthetic grease from advance. Waiting on the bearings and silencers in the mail and I'm ready to go.
