Junkyard, national rebuilder, Honda dealer....

If I went with junkyard I'd want newer.
Remanufactured unit from a Honda dealer should have all the improvements already done inside.
Can't tell you what any national rebuilder would do to one.

what should i do ?
or maybe part it out?
please help i,m desperate.
Only you can answer these.

Re: auto tranny help

thanks again. I'm reading all the stuff on a/t. its not good. priced a tranny from dealer 2781.00 + 125 freight + 1200 core =4106 sounds like my core is bad, so wont get 1200 back either. more research. leaning towards a kit if i can find a good one.

would like to swap to a manual. if i can find the parts or doner

Unless there is a gaping hole punched through the trans case, it's a good core.

"Good core" means it's rebuildable.

So many on the road you would think there'd be more parts.at least some clutch disc. Still not sure I'm going to do.might get a used one for now and build the bad one later. Have to wait to see what happens with the legal crap before I do anything.
