Seatbelt buckle replacement question

Hallo.

I have a 2002 honda civic lx that has the dreaded SRS light on.. i checked the code for the SRS problem and it was 9-3...

I've also tried the infamous trick of resetting the SRS through the yellow connector under the steering wheel but the light just comes back 1-2 weeks after..

I've decided to just buy a seatbelt buckle from the junkyard (a new one is hella expensive ...) and was wondering if I can use any seatbelt buckle from the 7th gen civics?? Or is there any codes/serial numbers that I oughtta look for in my car?

Thanks

Re: Seatbelt buckle replacement question

Nice. Goodbye to SRS light

I'm canadian though so no luck for me for warranties.
Bought this car for $1100 with 227000 km (~140k miles?) on odo so im not really complaining ..

Only problems I need to fix though is the SRS 9-3 and some chirp around the serpentine belt. It's probably a loose pulley since it chirps whenever I put gas on. It's a good daily driver nevertheless.
