Rep Power: 0 7th Gen Civic Radio
I recently purchased a 2004 honda civic ex. Everything in the car is original which i really like, but the radio..not so much. I was wondering if i'd be able to add a touch screen radio? And if so what kind do you recommend.

Of course! I've got a Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD that I got off of Crutchfield. They sent the adapters and a little guide all for free.
This was the first technical project that I had ever done, and it took me around 3 hours, mainly worried that I would break something in my car. If I had to do it again I could probably do it in under an hour.
If you want to do it your self, you'll need a few things:
Edit: You could also do it by crimping the wires, or use electrical tape, but I don't advise that, if any of the wires back there short out you'll be in trouble, at the least you'll have to rewire it, at the worst your car burns to the ground.
If you feel up for it, you can save a lot of money doing it yourself! Good luck!

- Heat gun / Hair drier
- Shrink tubing
- Puddy knife
- Screwdriver with various bits
