Ive been trying to find where the dome light power wire is located under the dash, I want to add led floor board lights that only come on when the door is open and fades with the dome, so if someone can tell or show me where this wire id located ill be forever happy

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: 03 lx question

Dome light fade out is controlled on the ground side, not the power side.

You can tap into the ground control at the back of the fusebox (connector O terminal 7) or at the dash-roof harness junction connectors (C651) under the left side of the dash.

You might remove the left (drivers) A pillar trim and follow the roof wiring harness down into the left kick panel/dash area to find the right connector.

Or.....It might just be easier to find and tap the wires in the A pillar trim area IMO.
