Replacing Rear Bumper Cover..

..alright my bumper cover for my 2001 LX is severly cracked. A huge gash on the left side. I found a replacement bumper cover on craigslist for 50 dollars and hoping to get it (hoping nobody else bought it) I know how to replace the bumper covers. Not that hard..really just a few nuts to take off. But my real question is how much do you guys think it will cost to get it painted to match my car?

Re: Replacing Rear Bumper Cover..

Try to paint it yourself first and see if you can match it, some websites sell paint that exactly match factory paint, a basecoat can and clearcoat can will cost you less then 30$, worth giving it a shot, you will need to sand it and clean it very well first. Also the crack in the existing bumper can be repaired, it's plastic depending on how damaged it is

Its pretty damaged...Like the crack is kind of an understatement..This is a big hole hahaha. Well I got the replacement bumper cover. Got it for 50 bucks off Craigslist..Still in the wrapper..brand new..I'll install it tomorrow and hopefully find someone to color match it or I'll paint it myself.
