Is there a difference in DX/LX suspension components?

Hello,

So im just wondering if there are any differences in the dx/lx front suspensions? I dont think so, through research I have found that that the SI and EX are different but I cannot find anywhere to back my thoughts that the dx/lx suspensions are the same and thats what im looking for here.

Thanks in advance,
Tory

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

AFAIK no fundamental difference in design or parts (unless it is a swaybar).
Look up parts for each choice in a catalog and compare part numbers?

just curious why you need to know?

No, because on rock auto's website the part only says for DX models, and i emailed them and they said that it was a dx specific part but i looked it up else where and it says it is for all the sub-models except the ex and si, its a monroe strut assembly.

Re: Is there a difference in DX/LX suspension components?

as far as i know they should be same, except for an eventual swaybar, as ezone mentioned. ah, just to mention, but monroes are cheap replacement part (with the cheap in case applying also that they will be far from what it could be...)
some might suggest KYB GR2's (although i heard in another type car forums hat they start degrading faster, but not as faster than the monroes will)

alright, well thanks for the input, and while i have your attention, the three ***** that control the heater/ac, well they all work, but the back light on the fan speed **** went out, is the light a replaceable thing on these? i haven't taken it apart yet to check
