Rep Power: 0 Bought a new stereo deck. What to do with the old one?
I recently installed an Alpine 137 bluetooth/HD radio car stereo and I've been loving it everyday. I still have the stock stereo...Should I keep it or throw it away? I noticed that the stock stereo has a anti-theft alarm light. I installed a new deck so does that mean I dont have anti-theft alarm?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Save the stock radio for when you sell the car.
The flashing light: the radio was anti-theft, meaning it needs the code entered to turn it on once you power it up again. It has absolutely nothing to do with any anti-theft on the car itself.

...or save it for when you total the car
did mine 2 weeks ago and you can't turn it into the insurance co with no radio...They won't reimburse you for an after market radio that isn't on the insurance (Deductible would be crazy) so i had to go down and swap out my Pioneer for the factory one that had been in the top of my closet for years
