honda civic 2002 si help please

im new to cars and to this forum, so please go easy...

i got a honda civic about a 1 1/2 months ago

i just rechecked all my fluid.

i noticed that my oil is really low, close to none... i checked under the car (cause its been sitting in my garage for 3 days) and i see no leaks.

does oil just get used up that quickly?

do i need an oil change or do i just need to put more oil in it..

what kind of oil is best to use for an 02 civic si?

side note: ive been using 91 gas on my car... is that alright?

thank you

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Read your owners manual.

Here is a MATH problem for you:
My sister drives a Chrysler minivan that uses a quart of oil every 1000 miles.
If she drives it 5000 miles without checking and adding any oil, what is the cost?

ALL engines consume oil, no matter if anyone notices it or not.

You have to check regularly and add oil when needed.

The owners manual probably will tell you to check fluids and tire pressures at every fill up (gas tank).

do i need an oil change or do i just need to put more oil in it..
When was the last oil change?

No matter what, if you can't keep oil in it, it will cost you an engine.

what kind of oil is best to use for an 02 civic si?
What is written on the oil cap?
What does the owners manual say?

ive been using 91 gas on my car... is that alright?
What does the owners manual say?
Does it say anything on the fuel fill door?

My GF drives a Saturn that may use a quart of oil every 500 miles. I have to add oil every couple of weeks.
