Buying civic

Hey guys just wanted to get some advice from the experts here. Im looking into buying my first real car (I have been driving my parents for awhile now). I need a reliable car that is fuel effiecent but also fun to drive so, I have come to the conclusion that I should buy a civic. Looking around on my local classifieds ive found this nice 7th gen.

http://classifieds.castanet.net/deta...coupe/1357303/

It's a 2005 civic with 118000 kms (73000 miles). He is the second owner, the first was a lady driver. The reason he is selling it is because he does not need the becuse he is going to school in a different area. Im sorta worried about all the aftermarket parts and the new transsmission.

What do you civic experts think? it seems like a good deal to me.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Buying civic

That's ok. It's an LX tho. That means there is no moonroof and most importantly no ABS.

Re: Buying civic

I might be mistaken but because it is a Canadian car it does have abs.

Re: Buying civic

Sorry to double post here but just found out there is a small dent in the bumper, passenger side mirror need to be replaced. Clutch was changed with transmission in april along with new brake bads. To me this car seems like it was abused.

Also the price has been lowered to $6000

Also engine light is one because of exhaust system being replaced
