Rep Power: 0 MEGAN FULL exhaust system!
i have an 04 civic dx, and need to find an exhaust system that fits into a Megan exhaust header MR-SSH-HC01D to be exact. I have looked for full exhaust systems from Megan racing and it seems to be parted out. if anyone has any clue on what parts to get or not to get, any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you have already replaced your header, then you will have no problems with this or any other cat-back system designed for an EX.

so an EX exhaust will fit into a DX header? I live in WI so losing my my cat converter wont be a legal issue, but will it cause problems with my engine or cars computer?

Sorry, I assumed you already had the Megan header. In order for a system designed for an EX to work you would need an after market header and downpipe. Or, alternatively the header, downpipe and cat from an EX.

can i ask you why you want headers in the first place?
because they wont do anything in terms of power/performance/mpg

my exhaust manifold is cracked and paying 300 dollars for a stock part seems a little disappointing for me so i figured i could do the whole exhaust hopefully for around 5 hundred and gain some power from it.. im just worried about my car not running properly if i take away the cat converter and i dont want to buy a whole new exhaust system if i have to weld a cat on to trick my o2 sensors

Besides an exponential amount of pollution over your stock setup, you won't run into any problems without a cat other than a CEL. And there are ways of tricking the computer to keep that light from coming on. If I were you though, I would hit up a scrap yard for an EX header/downpipe/cat and purchase an EX cat back.

but i hate to bust ur *****...but the d17 does not respond well to bolt on mods... you will certainly NOT gain 5hp from it...
in fact, you are going to prob lose some low end if you are running anything bigger than 2.25" pipping.
there ARE exhaust out there, however, that have been dyno'ed and have gain like 4hp... like the magnaflow full catback for example.
