If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: MPG contest?
Double the MPG of the old Park Avenue, but with only half of the ride quality.
Yeah, I'm old.
12 LX AT 4d ABC 123 LMNOP
Last tank was 32, all short trips in town.
/Lawn: off of it.

That's only ~260 miles.. Assuming an 11 gallon fillip, that's only 23mpg.. You flooring it everywhere?

Re: MPG contest?
Nope. I maintain 100-120km h and 60 in the city. There's definitely something wrong with my car and Im going to get it checked out tomorrow. Mad hesitation and poor MPG ftl.

It's one thing that we can be proud of...
Someone: "My car is faster than yours"
Someone with a civic: "Well I get better mpg than you"
unless they own a prius. Then those lines are switched around.

2002 LX coupe 5-speed 38 MPG
Here's the break down.
2002 LX coupe 5 speed.I just turned 213,000 miles on the car today and filled it up today.
My gas light went on at 460.1 miles
I then drove the car another 36 miles.
Total miles on tank was 496.1
Total Gallons to fill up was 12.938 (Which means I only had 0.262 Gallons left)
I know I could have driving over 500 miles but I got scared.
80 percent freeway miles, but I hammer the hell out of this car. I always cruise at 80 mph or faster on the freeway and while driving in the city I'm always the first off the line.
If I were to baby this car who knows how many miles I could get. ( Also the A/C is usually always on)

Re: MPG contest?
2002 civic LX auto 200K KM original engine/tranny
The highest I ever got was 6.8L/100km or about 35mpg which was all highway on a road trip.
I average about 8.8l/km which is about 26mpg (90% city driving).
I have noticed my car hesitates a lot recently when accelerating and also changing gears when cold. Much smoother when the tranny is warmed up. I think a tranny fluid change needs to be done with some DW-1.
Should i change my primary O2 sensor. I got the car with 150K KM and im sure the previous owner hasn't change the sensor.
