New 2004 computer reprogram?
We just picked up a used 2004 civic hybrid 4 door, and after a few days we got the p2000 computer code to have the computer reprogrammed.
Googling, I found nothing but complaints about computer updates from a while back that decreased power and milage for everyone who commented.
Does anyone know what his new update actually does, or is there any way to find out? Since the car is running perfectly, I'm in no hurry to spend between $45 and $95 to update the computer.
(It almost feels like being held hostage for no reason other than to give Honda money.)
If it actually improves milage, batteyr life or performance though, it would be a worthwhile update.
I find it hard to believe though that after 8 years Honda came up with some new reprogramming magic to improve things.
