Anyone have any ideas for good intakes i made a home made one for a temp use just took everything before the filter off.

they really dont do anything to our cars as far as performance goes,

but AEM, K&N, secret weapon, and injen are a few good ones to start.

Secret weapon makes nice looking intakes. And thats pretty much all theyre good for anyways, looks and sound. No added horsepower so whatever you pick will end up being the same. I have an aem because it came with my car if i had the choice id be rocking a secret weapon

thanks people one of my friends suggest that i make my own since it wont really help at all. its cheaper and i can plasti dip the whole thing

Buy a cheap intake off ebay ($30) and replace the filter with a K&N or AEM

AMEN. there is no difference that i can see in an ebay intake vs an expensive one. its just a metal pipe same as exhaust just a metal pipe. but yeah my ebay intake hasnt given me any problems install it when its warm so the rubber slides over the pipes easy
