Hello,
Im a newbie and looking to buy a 2004 Black SI Hatchback for my son. I found one in with 82,000 and looks like its in great shape. Im going to look at it tomorrow, please help with what i should look for, test drive, rust, ect..
How are the engines and transmission on these car and what do you think is a fair price if in really good condition. This is a retail customer that has this car for sale. Any help would be appreciated!

Just the standard stuff, they're generally a very good car and I can't think of any major problems. Most likely, almost definitely, the front control arm bushings will be torn. That will cause occasional popping on bumps, but its a bit difficult to replicate while driving. Gas mileage isn't outstanding, quite a bit lower than a sedan or coupe, it shares an engine with the base model rsx.
