well i finally got me a 04 civic dx 5 speed 4 door silver loving it so far great car in op havnet had any issues out of the car yet lets hope it stays that way

ya would eventually like to get a body kit that isnt to extream but flows nicly with the body of the car wheels ect but havnt made up my mind yet ya i am getting a tach tomorrow not sure how to hook it up yet lol i was thinking of just getting a lip kit as far as the body kit goes still browsing around to see what i like and and might wanna do to the car so far i love it wish the d17a1 had more power and was a vtech but so far loving the car

add a short ram intake it adds like 50hp!!

get a vtec head and stage 1 cam. anyone can tell u thats really the only way to get a decent amount of power without spending tons of cash or swapping

I love the stage upgrades but cant find anyone capable of doing that kind'a work around here. There all to skeerd. LOL

I seem to have a slight knock at about 2000rpm but only around there when its warmed up but does not knock when its cold is this a common noise or should I be hitting the dealer up with wtf's

What's the mileage on that thing?

You should be glad that you didn't get a 2001 or 2002 Civic, as they are known to have tranmission problems.

It has 142443 on the odometer as I am sitting in it now its a 5 speed did they tend to have problem with them at all?

Make sure the timing belt has been changed.

Make sure the transmission fluids has been changed with Honda brand.

The 2001 has BIG problem with transmission. The 2002, less so, but still have problem. 2003, significantly decreased. 2004 and 2005, not much reported problem.

How much did you pay for it?

^the issues are mainly with the auto trans. the 5 speed should be fine.
