Hey guys! my names shayn and i'm currently in the military station in the UK. I'm a vehicle mechanic so i love to work on my cars. I'm recently new to the forum and new to honda cars(i have a 2008 honda cbr600rr that is my baby). Its a 2003 civic si and i got it for $4800. good deal? It has 100k miles, aem intake, tokico springs and struts, front and rear strut bars, and a strut bar thing thats under the car its almost like an X thing that is under the engine, greddy exhaust, kenwood speakers all around with matching tweeters and a 12in sub and some rims that i'm not too fond. So far i've change the air filter, engine oil, and tranny oil. I like to keep my cars/bike in tip top shape so i make sure to keep up on maintinence. I also found out that i have aftermarket headlight housings with the halos i think. i've been reading that they are **** and the light output is terrible, and to be honest they suck lol. so before i read all that stuff about these shitty headlights i bought some HIDs for them which make them a little better but honestly its still ****. If i'm not mistake i have a k20a3? looking into getting some EBC slotted brake rotors along with green or yellow stuff pads? any comments or opinions on those? also wanting to get some new tires for it eventually, i'd say my driving style is slightly aggressive, but at the same time i don't want a tire that going to last 10k miles, any suggestions? Ill be using this car to go to work, 10 miles round trip, along with some spirated moutain runs and a slight possibility of going to a track day. I'm at work right now(night shift with nothing to do haha) so ill make sure to post some pictures of it when i get home.

I did a little research and to gain a bit more power you could get kpro (5ish whp) and then swap the cylinder head for a k20a2 from an RSX which has the vtec on the intake and exhaust whereas the a3 only has it on the intake. If you don't have headers get those. Next step up from i/h/e is cams. Also look at k20a.org for more info.

ok like i said i am not fond of these rims at all! i think its the crome, i just hate crome. I was possibly thinking about powdercoating them. but not sure if i want to do that or just get different ones.
thought i'd throw in a pic of my bike with it to i wanna take some better pictures with them together
hope you all like!

Car is clean..looks good. There are a ton of options for these cars but you have alot of them already...its usually Header, intake,exhuast,suspension..Then Something like Kpro..of Flashpro..(not sure if hondata makes flashpro for these years but is a good choice if they do)

yea like i said i hate the rims, i've been looking online for some but i'm too cheap to fork out the money for some right now lol, so i've been searching the forum for awhile and seems like pretty much everyone had bad things to say about the ebc rotors and pads. so decided not to get those and decided to get the brembo blanks with hawk hp+ pads for the front, sadly brembo discontinued the rear rotors for mine so i just bought stock rotors for the rear with some other hawk pads.
