Haha, thanks. Pretty caliper colors are nice to look at when they're clean. If you don't have a fairly open, 3/4/5 spoke wheel design, good luck on keeping them clean. Just sayin'.

Painting brake calipers is mostly for show, and hardly have any practical purposes aside from hiding a bit of brake dust.
If one is going for show, then paint them the brightest, flashiest color(s) possible: bright yellow, bright red, neon green, orange. You can't go wrong here. Be daring: paint them multi-colored rainbow!
If one is going for more practicality (like hiding brake dust), the previous suggestions of painting them black would work well. A dark silver or gray would probably also work reasonably well.

unless you have some nice big brembo or wilwood brakes, i would just be discrete and use black. don't need to attract anymore attention to the small calliper and drums we have on our cars lol.

white like mine =D but you'll need other white accents to tye down the overall theme.
make sure to use brake caliper enamel paint or ceramic exhaust paint.
you don't need to prime it, just use a wire brush to scrub off dirt and rust, the serface is rough enough that the spray should stick fine and cover in 3 coats.
i used a tarp in the weel well and over the front of the car, then used tape to mask out parts close to the calipers then news paper to mask larger parts close to the caliper.
ps: i painted my rims to =D.
