Question about the OEM rear wheel hubs

I notice my drums have holes next to the main holes where the lugnuts on the wheel hub are put through. THese holes are a bit smaller and i was told that theres suppose to be screws going through them and into the wheel hub, i guess for extra support is that true? Because right now i spin my drums and i literally have to press and hold the drum first against the backing plate for it to stick to it while spinning. Cause my wheel hubs on now (aftermarket) dont have the extra set of holes for screws and I looked at my OEM wheel hubs and they only have 4 main holes for the lug nuts, none for screws on top of that.

Do yours have the holes?

Re: Question about the OEM rear wheel hubs

The holes are so you can adjust your rear drum brakes. When you have the drum off and the braking mechanism exposed, you cannot see the adjuster (self-adjuster) with the hub on except through these holes. Hope that helps.
