Possible Cold Air box?

That large black resonator between the induction tube and the air cleaner box i assume is hollow. (Correct me if im wrong people)

I was thinking if i just keep that, but gut it to accommodate a cone filter. Replace the air cleaner box with a tube and run a longer induction tube to the bottom of the car.

Kinda want it to look like the paint pic i did.

Re: Possible Cold Air box?

Itf u want to do it as a fun project because u are bored, go for it.

But intakes are pretty much useless for our cars and u won't gain any real HP or mpg from it. So if ur expecting something, then ur gonna be disappointed.

Although a a tubular intake will make ur engine sound a bit deeper at WOT.

Btw, if u don't live in CA, just buy an eBay intake for like $15 and put a decelt quality filter on it. Like an AEM dry flow filter
