Something else I noticed. The mirrors are foldable. Is that a European model thing, or do you guys think those are aftermarket? Foldable mirrors are a plus IMO.

Nah, your car issue is only the shark gills in your fenders - if the car stop moving, it will suffocate like a shark

Very interesting to know. Though I think if they weren't painted to match, they would stick out like a sore thumb.

I'm not all against black mirrors I think they can look alright on the right car.

Sedan mirrors won't fit on a coupe, the bases can be modified to fit on a coupe though. Toyomatt (H-T) had USDM hybrid mirrors modified to fit on his em2. DC5 folding mirrors could probably be modified to fit too if you had a bit of experience with fiberglass work.

Otherwise, only EDM and UKDM EM2 mirrors are folding i believe.

Well not black in general, but black foldables. The Em2 mirrors flow with the body and are not noticable if theyre black. I've got a Blue Em2 and my mirrors are black and it doesn't look bad.

However, with the foldables they stick out further from the body making them more noticable (I would think) if they were black. I guess I'd have to see them to know for certain
