7 month anniversary with my 7th gen

I now have had my car for 7th months and its been a great car. Things around here have been rough and I've been really depressed lately and having my bday last Wednesday didn't
help at all. So I've been needed some time away. Decided to celebrate my 7th month with a little sunday cruise. The weather was a nice 70 degrees and a little cloudy. So I woke up at about 9 this morning, changed the oil, filled her up with gas, gave her a good wash and headed out.

I took the car all through the country side just listening to music and letting my mind at ease. The music up and the windows down. I stopped at a few different places and took some crappy pics to share. I put about 400 miles on her today. The car normally sits during the week and barely gets driven so I wanted to give it some attention. I got home a little while ago with the car being a little dirty but I came back with a smile on my face.

Yes my car is completely stock minus the hids so its nothing special to look at. And I know I suuuuck at taking pictures but these are just from my phone. But hope you guys enjoyed if you actually read. Enjoy the pics.

Re: 7 month anniversary with my 7th gen

We all know our cars reflect an image of our inner character. I love how you have retained the honda look, but have taken care of your vehicle to where it can still turn heads(mine at least). Even though its 5+ years old.

If I could I would, everything except audio I have is stock I intend to keep it that way. Ive done body collision work, but being a full time student sucks my money AND time. The time I want to spend keeping my car looking flawlessly stock and performing stock is eaten up by school or working to pay off school.

But seriously, your car is drop dead gorgeous and looks like its having a good life.

Re: 7 month anniversary with my 7th gen

Thanks man, mean a lot. I am keeping this car very simple. I'm a broke student as well and more worried about keeping the roof over my head. So I really plan on taking off the license plate bracket and the mud flaps to keep it simple. I would like to lower it a bit on some raceland just to fill the gap a bit, but not 100% set on that yet. Other than that I want to paint the calipers black and maybe to 8th civic 5lug swap and use stock si wheels. Also looking to add some clear fog light bulbs. Simple and clean is the name of the game for me.

Oh and shaving the emblems off the rear and removing the vinyl pin stripe. I want very very clean.

take your front license plate braket off or put a license plate there. its throwing your car off like that.

Re: 7 month anniversary with my 7th gen

yeah, taking a trip anywhere does help a lot! i do the same from time to time, even if that is only to put some heat in the engine... (very cold up here in the north...)
Yeah, i understand - for 5 years, my BD was always on the road, spent in hotels due to work schedule and always was traveling when there was an autoX event... shucks.
the plate in front does really not help, when i took the dealer plate off of mine it really helped on the lines of the car.

I know, I don't really want to put the plate on because the cops don't seem to care here, and I haven't taken the bracket off because I have no place to work on my car. So once I do over the summer it will be taken off.

if im not mistaken its three screws and it comes right off. i dont really remember but all you need is a screwdriver and it comes right off. the last time i messed with that was when i put my plate back on because everybody drives without one now and i wanted to be different lol.

lol yea and then your car will be really clean, you'll have a hole in the front bumper from the screw in the middle but its not even noticeable.

Re: 7 month anniversary with my 7th gen

Hell I'm not even worried about 2 small little holes in the bumper, Way better than a giant black bracket.

Re: 7 month anniversary with my 7th gen

It was covered for probably 2-3 weeks max here. We had mostly 70 degrees last week so It all melted and I have been itching to wash my car since it was repaired lol. I'm just ready for spring.
