Just wanted to know some opinions about how the car looks with a Honda wing, it was very easy to put on (less than an hour). Please ignore my winter wheels

looks really good, i think the coupes look alot better with a wing. a guy offered to trade me trunk lids on my 01 sedan for his that had an oem spoiler, but i like the look of no wing on a sedan.

Thanks for the compliments!
Not only did I do that but I waxed the wing twice before I put it on with a special wax called rejex. I used the wax on the windshield of my old 96 corvette when I had it, a little over a year later I had a professional try to fill a chip in my window but his epoxy wouldnt stick to the glass lol.

Re: Just installed OEM wing
A body shop was trying to charge me 100 dllrs just to install it so I decided to do it myself.
I understand that for the spoiler light I just have to unplug the third light and plug the spoiler light right??
Also, is there a template for the hole.. if so can someone tell me where to look for it?
Any help from users who installed spoilers would be appreciated..
Thanks

Yes if its an OEM wing all you have to do is unplug and plug new one in. If not no big deal, just unplug 3rd brake light and tap the power/ground to your new wing (if it has a light).
The template should have came with the wing (if its OEM), I believe I still have it too. Pm me if you need it, ill try to see if I sill have it.

Nice job, I am on the process to install one myself. I have it already

It is the OEM spoiler, but I bought it used. It came with the harness so I will unplug the 3rd light and plug the spoiler light with the harness.
Regarding the template, since the spoiler was used I didnt get any template so I will PM you and hopefully you still have it.
I cant believe the body shop was going to charge me almost the price of the spoiler which is in great condition.
Also, the spoiler for the sedan and coupe are the same right?

I will post pics soon
Also, today I noticed the 4 dimples (that you mentioned in a previous post ) where the holes go

Re: Just installed OEM wing
hey OP how did you deactivate the rear braking light (the one inside the car, back dash)? Im guessing once you put the new wing on the new braking light on it automatically activates?

Re: Just installed OEM wing
You unplug the 3rd braking light and plug the spoiler/wing in the same place, and you spoiler/wing light will be activated or funtional. This will be done through the trunk. Did I answer your question?

All it is for is for the wiring harness on the wing, the trunk lid is already marked in the 4 places that you need to drill out for the wing bolts, you could probably try and make your own with thick paper.
