Red face 2002 Civic LX 2door

How can I add more tension to torsion bars that help lift the trunk lid? Previous owner added a spoiler and increased weight makes it harder to lift and it literally slams shut.

well honda has heavy duty trunk shocks for the spoiler package. but the torsion bars are okay too. try putting some oil on the trunk lid hinges, it makes it much easier to move.
