hi there!
Just bought me a second hand 02 civic coupe and I realized that it was fitted with headlight washers... BUT I've searched everywhere and there doesn't seem to be a button to turn them on! Can anyone help me here? I'm begining to wonder wether those washers actually work or if they're not just some odd design feature?
thanks for your replies

There's headlight washers available on an 02 coupe? That's the first I've ever heard of it.. Unless someone installed an aftermarket one or retrofitted one onto your car..

ok, here is a pic of the washers (yeah, it's black on black so you need to look carefully)
BTW European Civics have quite odd equipement, for example the headlight washers are standard (as if you'd really need them...) BUT cruise control is optional (something you'd use every day). Don't ask me what they were thinking when they decided on that...

can't imagine how you got that installed...
Is your car european or did the PO install them?
Anyway, dumb question, but have you tried to use you windshield washer and see if they work in synch? Maybe they are connected to the same system...
I see that they are washers, not the wipers that some cars have.

they are supposed to work when you use the windshield sprayers.

yes, interesting idea, I'll check it out... I've already driven a Mercedes that had that, although the headlight washers only worked every number of windshield sprays, not on every one (which would be logical since you don't really need those things working all the time).
