Re: 01 civic lx auto trans IAC valve

rich .. well my idle rpms are at like 500 and it jumps around like its on meth once i hit the pedal.. i plan on starting with the easiest ie cleaning the iacv and then checking sensors, cables etc..

thanks guys for the actual pic.. im not too familiar with hondas or imports in general and i was racking my brain without starting to take **** off at random.. i notice honda doesnt make it easy to get to most things ie putting it UNDER the damn throttle body lol ...well looks like ill be cleaning that later on today and seeing what happens from that... and WTF at that piece of plastic costing 200 bucks... wtf is there plutonium inside of it? JESUS!!!!! lol

just looked at it.. the diagram is wrong to a degree.. its in that area.. but mine has the hoses connected on either side....it looks like a t valve.... not together... either way i see myself disconnecting the throttle body and moving wires around to get to it.
