Mine hit a part of the underbody at the rear of the car, just forward of the bumper. exhuast hangers actually hitting. Caused some loud low frequency vibration as well as knocking sounds when I hit bumps. I grabbed some urethane exhaust hangers off ebay, and the vibration went down markedly, but would still get knocking sounds when I hit bumps. My fix for that was taking one of my old exhaust hangers and wedging it between the underbody and the exhaust hanger that was hitting, then secured it in place with a zip tie.

The second pic, you can see marks on the underbody where the exhaust was hitting. That wedged in half-hanger has since fallen out and I wedged a full rubber hanger in there.

every exhaust is meant to shake and move around. they are supposed to have flex and slack, thats normal. rattling against your car is annoying but you can fix it. you shouldnt ever have an exhaust system thats completely stationary.
