Rep Power: 314 7thgen AUTOMATIC window mod
well i spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out how to get this to work, but i finally got it!
parts list:
master power window switch from 02-06 cr-v(element if you are a coupe)
driver side front power window regulator assembly from a pilot or cr-v
some wire
extra pins and terminals(if you are at a junk yard pulling all this stuff out, cut the door harness to get all the plugs and extra pins from the switches and motor assemblies
basically if you look at the civic window motor you will notice it has a 4 wire plug, whereas the cr-v/pilot motor has 6 wires, the extra wires are to tell the switch to stop the window motor once its all the way up or all the way down
since there are 2 extra wires, you need to create an "adapter" harness basically a harness that converts the 6 pin plug from the cr-v to the 4 pin of the civic, for the most part, if you look at the wire diagram, up is up, and down is down, but the crv switch has extra inputs and has the ground wired up differently, so i ended up running 3 wires, and tapping into another power wire
and since the crv switch requires a constant power supply i just tapped into a few fuses under the dash and everything works like it should
sorry i didnt document everything i did, but there was a lot of swearing and cussing during this, and i finally figured out the wiring so heres what this mod does....
