what's the deal with this filter is it garbage does it filter property does anyone have experience with it . i spotted it at advance auto parts in between the k&n and aem brand filters for about the same price i need to get a new filter. its a reworks steel mesh filter.

im getting the AEM dryflow im just curious about the steel mesh one ive never seen or heard of one before im looking for some info.

don't know about the steel mesh. people claim they get such insane amount of power that they're to be used for racing purposes only...yea okay.
you can try it, my friend put one on his it had a little bit of a higher pitched noise when we drove it around...not recommended for people that live in desert areas with excessive dust or sand.
i personally stick to the regular filters.
