ok heres the deal. When the car is cold this never happens. Only during normal running temperatures. When i am in any gear and stick the car in nuetral, the rpms drop and the car shuts off immediatly. Now when the car is parked, it idles at a low at around 1k. When i rev it up, and let go of the pedal, it ALMOST shuts off. Anyone got any ideas?????????

how long has it been doing this?
do you have any engine mods done? if so...what do you have done
do you still use your stock injectors?
have you ever had a tune done if you have done any upgrades?
have you had any recent work done on the car?

My guess would be the IAC valve. Its probably dirty and needs to be cleaned.

ya i got a k20a2 in it lol. Stock everything except the intake and exhaust.

x2 on the IAC valve. prolly clogged. when you let go of the gas, that valve keeps the car running at idle. its usually bolted to the throttle body and has two coolant hoses going to it.

did u try tightening the throttle cable it might fix it but idk if that a solution

i know my throttle cable is a lil lose ill try tightening it, and ill clean my iac valve...thanks guys lets see what happends.....
