Rep Power: 211 How dark is your tint?
Hey guys, I have an appointment this tuesday to tint my car.
Just wondering how dark you guys went on each of the windows.
Also what would you do differently?

35% on 5 windows, I wouldn't do anything differently. Easy to see in on a sunny day, real hard to see in at night. Always easy to see out.

35% front 5% rear. i would do 5% if i could, or even more realistictly 20% in front but cops are real ******* where i live. they even gave me a bit of trouble for my 35%'s

lol. It took a while to get used to it.
At first I was worried, but now it isn't as bad as I first thought.
I just wouldn't recommend getting your tails smoked, because when you back up, the white rear light will be dimmer and it won't be good at all...especially, when there isn't much light lighting up the area.

I have to agree, 15% all around is definetly worth it. I've been driving my car with it for the past year and i love it. One thing you should think of is if you are planning on taking you car lapping, 15% makes it harder for other drivers to see you waving them by

15% all around for me also. I had it done when I bought the car brand new over 5 years ago. I don't find it very difficult to drive at night. Although, I was thinking of doing my driver and passenger window a bit lighter now because the cops are really cracking down on this **** here now. Also, make sure they use a good quality tint because the cheaper stuff is more prone to turning purple as it ages as well as the rear defogger lines.

^^ yeah but the point is that you are less likely to get pulled over with 35% and lighter tints.
I have 35%. Never been pulled over for it and when I have been pulled over there was never any mention of the tints.
However, my friend with 20% has gotten tickets for it. Until finally he had enough and changed the tints.
