Question Will Honda use 0w10 oil in near future.??

Just Looking for a Answer to this one. Jeff Jetter from american motor co.
has talked about using 0w10 viscosity oil in California in the Past yes i know

California has one of the toughest emmision regulations. but i still think using
a 0w10 viscosity oil is nuts to say the least for all year round Hot & Cold protection wouldnt You think..?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

It will be fine. Most of the engineers are far smarter than the rest of the motoring public about how this plan affects the engines. They have done their homework.

Many people still cry about 0w20, but it's been in use for almost 2 decades now and working well IMO in spite of what the nay-sayers say.

We already have 0W16 on the shelves.

I work for a Honda dealership, not corporate. Big difference LOL

I can't answer that question, I don't have first hand knowledge of it.

I can say they have stated in the past that the factory fill oil was regular normal oil--- not so called break-in oil, and they wanted it to stay in the engine for the full mileage the maintenance minder allows before it pops on the service reminder......or at least 5000 miles.
