Cold air emanating from armrest area

I have a 2007 Honda Civic Ex and today, while I had the heater on, all of a sudden I started to feel cold air emanating from under my right arm. Opened the armrest cover and it was cold. The wole central area seemed to have cold air. This has never happened to me before and I have no idea what is wrong.

Re: Cold air emanating from armrest area

This sounds like it needs an expert. Went out and opened mine and it's cold in there too. However, I have the option cooler center pack on mine and it's always been that way.
Does yours have the optional center heater pack?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Opened the armrest cover and it was cold.
Any huge holes in there? Could you see the pavement under the car?

The center console armrest storage box isn't heated or cooled, but I've seen cases where the tubes that lead to the under-seat ductwork and vents becomes detached for whatever reason.....but that would eventually make the console area get warmer if you had the heat on.
