Honda civic fuel pump help

(My english it's not perfect, please excuse me)

Hi there fellows, I'm new at this forum (very happy because I found it) and I came here because a situation with my car.

I own a Honda Civic 2014 EXL 4DR Sedan 1.8L I-4, the car was involved in a an accident and unfortunately the Fuel Pump broke. (The car always showing Low Fuel and 0 Miles to run. I took the car to my mechanic, he showed me the fuel pump, please see the next two pictures)

So, I need to buy a new Fuel Pump to my car. When I search on eBay, I find tons of it, but specifically two models. Both of them fits Honda Civic 2014 and seems to work perfectly with my car, but one of them it's more expensive than the other. (One cost 80$ and the other one 340$)

THIS IS THE 80 ONE

THIS IS THE 340 ONE

Here you can see the two eBay links where you can see both of them really look alike, and, in the top part, they have the same connectors (output)

80 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-2013-20...BXoivw&vxp=mtr

340 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fuel-Pump-Mo...RXXvLy&vxp=mtr

The question is:

Which one should I get?
Will both of them work with my Car?
It's there any differences between them?

Thank you so much in advance, and I hope you guys help me!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Honda civic fuel pump help

Hondas fuel pumps have been extremely reliable.
I'd be comfortable with a good used factory pump, preferably from a local recycle yard.

Thank you for your answer, but, if you see the pictures, the Fuel Pump are slightly different.

I want to know the difference between them!

Re: Honda civic fuel pump help

The ONLY thing I can discern from the pics is... the cheap one has dirt on it, looks like it is used.

Does it correctly fit your particular car? I have no idea and really have no way to figure that out from where I sit.

Have a dealership look it up using your VIN and obtain the Honda part numbers from them, then see if the ebay seller has the same part number on their sale item?

I looked up a pump assembly for a USA market sedan with a 1.8L engine and it showed about 6 different choices for the pump assembly.

Re: Honda civic fuel pump help

Hi there, I'm still lost and really desperate!

The Fuel Pump looks very similar, but they're not the same.

This is the first model and cheapest one:

This is the other model and more expensive one:

BUT HERE, YOU CAN SEE THE SLIGHT DIFFERENCES THEY HAVE:

Once again, both of them are compatible with my Honda Civic 2014 EXL 4DR SEDAN 1.8L I-4!!!

Thank you in advance guys and sorry for bothering.

Re: Honda civic fuel pump help

both of them are compatible
Really? Are you positive of that?
So what's the problem? Pick one.

If not, pick the one that matches your old unit.
