almost a noob needs advice

Hi guys and gals. Thinking of purchasing a modified 07" Si for daily driver. I am an old fart with a 21 year old mentality who probably needs a mini van but can't do it. I have had modified Datsun's, Toyota's and rotary Mazda's but not a Honda. All of my experience is RWD (except for MR2 in some convoluted way) so if I buy the Civic it will be a all new experience. The one I'm looking at already has considerable mods. i am going to view it Wednesday and any advice anyone can offer is appreciated. Anything in paticular to look out for? I need something fun and unique, but will need it to haul me to Indy or TX or wherever there might be a race I need to work but prefer to drive instead of fly. Here is a link to the car.

Here is my finished 2 wheel Honda project.

Welcome to the forum.

Salvage title, I would look elsewhere.

What are you looking to get out of your new Honda? You looking for a fun car that's more show or go?

Cool looking project!

Both GolNat. Go is more important than show, but I insist on my stuff being clean. Salvage title does not concern me depending on the damage and how it was repaired. When I go look at it Wednesday I'm putting it on a lift to inspect the repairs. It was hit in rr 1/4 panel. Any common pitfalls on 07's?
