Rep Power: 0 06 Civic Si Code: P0325 Knock sensor Help Please!!
I need help with a recent diagnosis i did. CEL code P0325 knock sensor on bank 1 . So i did a inspection to find that the knock sensor was broken and barley even connected. (My guess would be from a recent "clutch"/"flywheel" and Shift Cable linkage install i had done) After i purchased a new Knock sensor and installed it. I cleared the DLC and the CEL went away but 2 weeks later it came back. Ran another diagnosis with the same results, Code: P0325 ....what's the next step I should take??

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Factory sensor?
Damaged wire, or terminal spread out/poor fit/intermittent contact?

No... not a factory replacement...how would I go about checking the wires and the connection? This is what the old one looked like.

Make sure the connector was actually latched onto the sensor and could not be pulled loose or fall off.
You would have to find a properly sized male terminal to insert into the female terminal in the KS harness connector to check that it has sufficient tension and will make good positive contact. Google 'pin drag test' for more info
Wiring checks in the FSM are just for continuity from the sensor to the ECM, and ohm check between the wire and ground make sure it isn't shorted to ground.
Grab a used OE sensor from the boneyard? Seems like the only ones I've seen bad were damaged by someone taking the starter out carelessly. Otherwise, they have been pretty reliable in my area.
