Rep Power: 0 Adding Bluetooth
I would like to update my 2012 Honda Civics LX audio. I do not have Bluetooth in my car and I would like to get Bluetooth, however is there a way for me to get Bluetooth without having to install a touchscreen? I would like to keep the function in the steering wheel with the ability to change songs from the steering wheel. Also to keep the little screen that it came with as my viewer of what songs are playing once I get Bluetooth installed, so what are my options, as far keeping the function/ability to change tracks from the steering wheel and to have the little screen be my viewer for what is playing on my phone?

I have something similar that plugs into my cars aux port, and doesn't do what I wish it should do. I think I am just to darn picky. I really don't want a touch screen in my car. Just Bluetooth that can do what I want

You will have to get some type of adapter to go in to the stock head unit... or
You can get a non-touch-screen single din stereo (like my $100 Kenwood) that has all modern hookups like bluetooth and USB port. Probably the best option.
Or go all out and get the double din with GPS and all of that, which I really think is the most wasteful option.

The only downside is it cannot play video, it has a simple digital display. But because I use it with my smart phone, I have no need for video function.

@maddogtannen
One more question for you, I have a 2012 civic and it has that small screen, near the speed gauge or whatever its called, is music titles displayed on there or just on the kenwood?

I would look on Crutchfield and see if they offer any adapter or something to send the signal to the display for your car. You might have to do a little searching for that answer.
