Blue book on a 2007 Si coupe with 100k on the clock is $7533 for good condition and $8229 for very good condition, and $7001 for poor condition. Assuming it's private party sale, you can probably haggle it down a bit, but I wouldn't bet on getting it for anything less that 6500-7000. His asking price seems fair. Take it for a test drive and/or pay for a pre-sale inspection. If you (or the inspecting mechanic) find anything really wrong with it, either pass up on it or ask for a discount to the tune of the cost it would take to repair said ailments.
