Key fob issue

I have a 2013 Honda si sedan. My key fob doesn't work properly. When trying to lock the doors if I push lock all does will except for the driver door then I have to put the key in to lock it. Same with unlocking, all doors will unlock except for the driver door until I physically put the key in and turn it.

Re: Key fob issue

Should be under warranty, take it to the dealership.
Sounds like a wireless communication or power issue.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Key fob issue

Or it's got a bad lock actuator.
Or maybe the bodyshop forgot to hook up the power lock actuator.

Re: Key fob issue

Guess he could do a little detective work, sit right next to the door and see if there is any sound when he presses the button.
If so, the mechanism is most likely working, just not hooked up correctly, or is malfunctioning and needs a swap for a properly working one.
