Hey guys, I've been out of the civic scene because I've been stationed overseas for 6 years. I'm coming back and want to make sure this dealer isn't taking me to the cleaners. My "buddy" works for the dealer and gave me the details but he's not much of a buddy and i known to get some extra $ even from his "friends" :P Wondering if it's worth the value and if it's not what would you offer?
2007 Honda Civic Si - w/ 80k miles for $11,595
It has a Johnson racing fully adjustable suspension, it has torsion bars and arms and springs struts strut tower tie bars anti roll bars
BBS Wheels
Stainless Exhaust
Stainless Header
Stainless Intake
I couldn't make the message make better sense because I don't know what a few of those things are lol I'm not a huge car enthusiast I usually pay for anything past tire/oil changes. So I highlighted the area I couldn't break up to make sense cause I have no idea what they even are lol.

It's about $1400 over Blue Book value for good condition. Do you know the brands of the intake, header and exhaust? In any case, with all the mods it MIGHT be worth it if everything suits your style. I'd definitely test drive the thing. How's the engine bay look?

have You asked Yourself why a moded civic like this, is sitting in
someones dealer..? i mean it looks like nice BUT...whats
the history on it as far as maintenance goes and the big Question
why would someone spend the $doe on modifying a civic then have
it at a dealer? for sale. was this a trade in or a quick sale.?

Re: Worth it?
Some kid probably had it and his parents bought the parts for him so when it came time to trade in he didn't want to bother selling them. Just a guess.
Drive it, see how she is. What brand are the parts? That would change how much extra I would pay.

Kinda surprised that, with that much customization done, it still has the stock stereo...
Almost makes me think someone had big plans for the car, but either ran out of money...or found a reason to drop the car(be it an issue with the car, or they just decided to get a different car)
Just pure speculation though.

Torsion bars with springs and anti-roll bars?!? Hopefully the guy who wrote it was drunk, it is painful if he was not...
It have coil springs (the shocks are separated from the coils on that and newer generation)
No torsion bars other than the "swaybars" but they wrote anti-roll bars, which I would thought they could have mis-named...
