In need of some advice,of course im new. i have a 2013 Ex Sedan with just a cold air intake and a catback exhause. i REALLY want to upgrade the engine...as in swap it out. this will be my first swap by the way. what engine will give me more power? what do i need to get to place it and etc. i have no idea what engines are compatable with my car. THANKS GUYS.

Well it's a newer car still, so that's gonna be a very expensive project.
It may well even end up being more money than if you just traded the civic in for an accord.
But if you have the money, most anything is possible.
I think the biggest problem is the CVT tranny, I know in previous generation civics a swap to the accord's V6 wasn't that crazy, but I'm sure the CVT will complicate things, and that is if the CVT is able to handle any additional power.
You may be looking at the new engine and a new tranny, and the price will shoot up from there.
Not trying to discourage you, just making sure you know what you are in for.

13 has the regular auto trans. 14 went to CVT.
Turbo? Supercharger?
Trade it in for an SI with the 2.4 engine.
That would be a whole lot easier and the car would be worth a lot more $$ than if you hack a transplant into a perfectly good car..
