What's this thing?

I was driving along today and all of a sudden this fell on my foot! I pulled over and looked under the stirring wheel column, but I couldn't see where it came from. Any one have an idea what it is, where it came from, and how I can fix it?? Thanks!

That's the magnet off the back of a speaker.

Time for some new dash tweeters (or "A pillar" tweeters? Whichever.)

Really?? That's crazy. I thought the speakers were in the door and enclosed. I wasn't aware of one under the dash. I'm just glad it isn't something very important. It's never a good feeling driving along and a big hunk of metal falls out of the stirring column. Thanks for the help!

Re: What's this thing?

They are not under the dash.
07 EX has tweeters up there somewhere in front of you you can see.

The magnet fell off and fell through the dash to the floor.
