Cat-back exhaust kits

I was wondering if you guys could give me some ideas for a cat-back kit that would give me a decent increase in torque and a moderate gain in horse power.

What I'm trying to do with my exhaust is to try to stay away from a canister, unless I absolutely have to get one. If you guys know of a cat-back kit that doesn't have a canister, I'd be willing to do a group buy for those that are interested in breaking the "ricer" mold.

none,

a cat back system will do nothing in the way of HP gains on an otherwise stock engine, especially without a header, all it will do is change the sound

I see. Now, as you said...I would need a header. Do I have to JUST get a header? Or could I get an entire exhaust system from the head back, to get a moderate gain in horsepower and a decent increase in torque?

you can get complete systems or buy them piece by piece, however, even with a header you are looking at alot of money for very minimal hp gains, without any other mods,

if your going to do that, you really need to add a cam and intake to get the full benefits from it,

no point in opening up the exhaust when the head and intake are still very restrictive
